Scala Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong proficiency in Scala and experience with sbt for build management.
Solid understanding of functional programming principles and best practices.
Experience with JSON serialization and deserialization frameworks such as Circe.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of cloud authentication and authorization mechanisms, including:IAMSTSAssumeRoleWebIdentity Experience integrating with AWS SDKs, particularly:Amazon S3AWS STS Experience working with:Google BigQueryGoogle Dataflow Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL.

Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala.
Build and enhance distributed systems that process large-scale data workloads.
Develop integrations with cloud services across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using cloud-native identity services.
Build and maintain data pipelines supporting ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed, cloud-based environments.
