Senior Java Software Engineer

**Open only for the candidates who currently reside in Alpharetta, GA or Nearby Location ** ** Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship ** Job Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer to support and build a modernized microservices application suite. The engineer will design, develop, deliver, and maintain highly scalable products and applications using industry best practices. This role partners with product managers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software and support production operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain microservices that support consumer-facing applications.Write high-quality code with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance. Use test-driven development and participate in peer code reviews.Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish build and delivery pipelines.Add instrumentation and monitoring to support production environments and build Docker containers and support container management.Accurately estimate the scope of work, identify risks early, and communicate trade-offs to team members and other stakeholders.Own products and features from conception through delivery and production support, including specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health. Required Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field, or equivalent work experience.Experience designing and developing highly scalable, secure applications and products.Experience developing and deploying applications on Azure or a similar cloud platform.
