Cloud Security Engineer (Golang, HashiCorp Vault) Location: Montreal – Hybrid Duration: Till end of year with possibility of extension Pay: $63/hr INC / $54/hr T4 Role Overview: Seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in Golang, HashiCorp Vault, and Azure/AWS/GCP to design and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud security solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop enterprise applications and security platforms using Golang.Design and manage HashiCorp Vault solutions, including secrets engines, authentication backends, policies, and plugins.Build cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, or GCP.Develop APIs, microservices, and platform services.Implement IaC and DevSecOps practices.Perform security reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and compliance assessments.Monitor and troubleshoot production environments.Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on Golang development.Strong OOP and software design principles.Strong HashiCorp Vault experience, including Enterprise, Secret Engines, Authentication Backends, Policy Management, and Plugin Development.Azure, AWS, or GCP.Kubernetes and containers.REST APIs and microservices.CI/CD and DevSecOps.Authentication & Authorization, Encryption/PKI, security compliance, and distributed systems.
