In our Materials Development team we take care of various business categories, and we work very closely with our cross-functional partners such as design, costing, sourcing and the suppliers to develop seasonal newness in fabrics, trims and all over prints.

Get to know and support the responsibilities of an apparel materials developer at adidasAssist the material development team in daily business such as developing new material with our suppliers, researching on new and existing materials technologies, preparing of material presentations, but as well with administrative tasks like creating material boards, maintaining the fabric library, etc.Support the materials development team on current projects and own individual projects as assigned Support innovation projects and initiatives in the area of sustainable materials

ELIGIBILITY
Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate) Availability for the full duration of the internship from March 2027 – August 2027Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
