Description

Groenlo, Netherlands 32 - 38 hrs € 4.600 - € 5.300 Hybrid What are you going to do? Connect RFID readers and handhelds to mobile apps, and solve the Bluetooth and firmware issues behind them. A store employee needs to be able to rely on a handheld reader and a mobile app. When a connection drops or a scan does not reach the app, the cause could lie in the device, the firmware, a software development kit (SDK), the phone, or the connection between them. You find out what is happening and make sure the combination works in the store. Our software helps retailers use inventory information in the day-to-day work of their stores. As a Hardware Integration Engineer, you make sure handhelds and readers work reliably with our mobile applications. You look at the entire chain, from device to app. Your focus is on integration, testing, troubleshooting, and working with suppliers. Sometimes a supplier provides an SDK; sometimes we build the integration ourselves. With your help, we will build the knowledge to develop, test, and manage more of these integrations in-house. Make checks repeatable so integrations continue to work across different devices and software versions. Turn technical findings into clear feedback and follow up on issues until they are resolved.
