Senior Cyber Security DevOps Specialist | Embed Security by Design Across Engineering Teams | Major Dutch Bank A major Dutch bank is looking for a Senior Cyber Security DevOps Specialist to join the DevOps Security team within its Corporate Information Security Office (CISO). The team drives the bank's Security by Design approach, making sure security is built into development from the start instead of fixed afterwards. As the organisation moves to value streams, this role becomes the key link between security and the DevOps teams across the bank. The goal is concrete: raise the security maturity of those teams by at least 20%. About the role This is a hands-on enablement and advisory role, with no software development, pipeline work or code reviews. Around 80% of your time goes to working directly with engineering teams. Your engineering background earns developers' trust, and your security expertise turns their challenges into practical improvements. The role is hybrid, with at least one office day per week in Amstelveen. You will: Lead working groups and security communities with DevOps teams to identify, prioritise and remediate security gapsAct as a trusted advisor on secure development practices, security guardrails and secure coding standardsTranslate security requirements into practical guidance for developers, and bring developer feedback back into security initiativesDrive continuous improvement of the developer security experience and help DevOps teams reach measurable maturity gains About you At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, risk management or bankingA background as a software developer, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience across the full software development lifecycleDeep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure software developmentProven ability to influence engineers and senior stakeholders without formal authorityProfessional proficiency in English About Levy Professionals Since 2000 we provide professional solutions to organizations ranging from tech start-ups to global players.
