Education Requirement - Bachelor s Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Or related field We are specifically looking for someone who understands Oracle application delivery, release engineering, deployment automation, and production release management. The ideal candidate can take ownership of deployments while helping mature CI/CD and DevOps practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities Own and coordinate Oracle application releases and production deployments Manage code promotion across development, test, QA/UAT, and production environments Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Support deployments involving Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Visual Builder/VBCS Troubleshoot deployment failures, release issues, environment issues, and production deployment problems Establish repeatable release processes, deployment standards, controls, and best practices Improve automation and reduce manual deployment activities Coordinate releases across development, QA, infrastructure, database, application, and business teams Manage release schedules, dependencies, approvals, rollback plans, and production readiness Improve monitoring, observability, deployment validation, and post-release support Help drive the organization's broader Oracle DevOps transformation and process maturity Must-Have Skills Strong experience with the Oracle technology ecosystemOracle Database and SQL/PLSQLOracle APEXOracle Visual Builder / VBCSStrong CI/CD and deployment automation experienceProduction deployment and release-management experienceExperience promoting application/database changes across multiple environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills for failed deployments and production releasesAbility to independently own release and deployment processesStrong communication and cross-functional coordination skills Strongly Preferred FlexDeploy experience Oracle Cloud / OCI experience Oracle-focused CI/CD tooling Observability and application monitoring Datadog or similar monitoring platforms Deployment governance and release controls DevOps process improvement / transformation experience Experience establishing DevOps standards for enterprise Oracle environments Ideal Background We would especially like to speak with candidates who have worked as: Oracle DevOps Engineer | Oracle Release Engineer | Oracle Deployment Lead | Oracle Application Delivery Lead | Oracle Platform DevOps Engineer | Oracle Release Manager Important This role is not primarily focused on Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps administration, or generic cloud infrastructure engineering. The hiring manager's priority is someone with deep Oracle ecosystem experience combined with CI/CD, deployment automation, production release management, and DevOps process ownership. Oracle experience is more important than specific FlexDeploy experience. Candidates local to Minnesota are preferred.
