About The Role As a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer / SRE, you’ll join our DevOps platform team to support cutting-edge AI SaaS and PaaS solutions. You’ll help build and operate reliable cloud infrastructure, improve delivery pipelines, and strengthen platform observability and resilience. This position may require participation in an on-call support rotation in the future. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure supporting AI SaaS and PaaS solutions.Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple ecosystems to support efficient, reliable software delivery.Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.Manage Kubernetes clusters, including cloud-managed Kubernetes services.Administer Linux environments and troubleshoot issues across application code, cloud infrastructure, networks, and operating systems.Support PostgreSQL database environments and investigate operational issues.Define service-level objectives (SLOs) and develop monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and escalation chains.Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements, improve platform reliability, and translate complex problems into actionable tasks.Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical and operational documentation.Participate in an on-call support rotation if required in the future.Other duties as assigned About You Qualifications & Skills 7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering.5+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and CI/CD technologies, including hands-on expertise with at least two CI/CD ecosystems.3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in backend development.Strong knowledge of networking principles and operating system concepts, with 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration.5+ years of in-depth experience with AWS, highly preferred, and/or GCP.5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform.5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including at least one cloud-managed service such as EKS, GKE, or AKS.Strong experience with PostgreSQL.Proven ability to troubleshoot issues across code, cloud infrastructure, networks, and operating systems.5+ years of experience with observability tools, including defining SLOs and designing alerts, dashboards, and escalation chains.Ability to gather and clarify project requirements and break complex problems into manageable tasks with actionable next steps.A collaborative, resilient, and proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to structure focused, clear discussions.A meticulous approach to creating clear, comprehensive documentation.Preferred: AWS or GCP certifications.Preferred: Experience with MLOps practices and their integration into CI/CD pipelines, Nvidia NIM, or relevant Nvidia certifications.Nice to have: Experience with Temporal workflows.Monks Technology Services does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information About Monks Monks is the global, digital-first, data-driven, unitary operating brand of S4 Capital plc.
