About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - SOLUTION LIFECYCLE is responsible for developing the next generation of backend services and core infrastructure that support the organization's platform. This role focuses on enhancing system reliability, stability, and scalability, contributing to the management of distributed systems and database infrastructure. The position emphasizes collaboration through mob programming and collective code ownership, aiming to build high-quality software and operational excellence. The role is critical to maintaining and evolving the foundation that enables the platform's performance and growth. Responsibilities: Design and build scalable backend services for next-generation applications.Develop and maintain core infrastructure ensuring reliability and stability.Manage and upgrade large-scale database infrastructure and replication.Automate operations using tools such as AWS, Golang, MySQL, Terraform, Temporal, and GitLab-CI.Collaborate in real-time with team members through mob programming.Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.Apply Test-Driven Development practices to ensure system resilience.Utilize AI tools to enhance coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting.Share responsibility for system operational health via on-call rotations. Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience in modern programming languages; experience with Go is a plus.3+ years working with cloud technologies and a strong interest in Infrastructure as Code and database reliability.Experience building scalable, highly available applications and REST APIs.Comfort with team-based engineering practices including mob programming and test-driven development.Strong problem-solving skills and interest in system stability and scalability.Excellent communication skills.1+ year professional experience using AI tools to improve productivity.BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
