Location: Toronto Hybrid: 1 day a week onsite Contract: 3 months (high likelihood of extension) Pay rate: $80-90/hour JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking an iWay Developer for a large financial institution undergoing a customer master data modernization initiative. This resource will support existing integration and synchronization processes as the organization migrates and modernizes its customer master data environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on iWay development experience and a proven track record working within mainframe-based environments. Responsibilities: Enhance existing iWay jobs that read messages from MQ, transform the data, and store the data in DB2 tables.Enhance existing iWay jobs that read DB2 tables, transform the data into XML format, and write data to MQ.Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements to existing integration and synchronization processes.Support the remediation of issues within existing data integration workflows.Participate in application design, coding, testing, and technical documentation activities.Collaborate with technical teams supporting customer data modernization and synchronization initiatives. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of hands-on iWay development experience.2+ years of MQ and DB2 knowledge and experience.Knowledge of software development lifecycle and development best practices.Experience with application design, coding, testing, and documentation.Experience performing development within a mainframe environment.Experience supporting data transformation and integration processes. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Financial services industry experience.Experience working on data modernization or migration initiatives involving customer master data.
