Terraform Developer Halifax, NS - Hybrid (4 Days WFO) 6-12 months Role Descriptions: Client is looking for a Terraform Developer to join its Aperture Data Insights team in the Quantitative & Technology Services (QTS) Data| Cloud & Compute stream. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure & Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role combines infrastructure automation with modern data platform expertise| requiring hands-on experience across cloud ecosystems and infrastructure-as-code practices. Key Responsibilities & Requirements Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management The successful candidate will demonstrate strong working experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure with the ability to design| deploy| and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will be proficient in network troubleshooting for cloud environments and capable of diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure issues. Infrastructure as Code & Automation You will have solid working experience with Terraform and the ability to create reliable| scalable infrastructure through code. Beyond implementation| you must be able to troubleshoot and resolve Terraform-related issues| optimizing infrastructure definitions for maintainability and efficiency. Containerization & Orchestration Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies is essential. You will work with container platforms to ensure efficient deployment and management of applications across cloud environments.CI/CD Pipeline Development You will have demonstrated experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines| ensuring automated and reliable deployment processes. Data Platform Expertise Familiarity with modern cloud data engineering platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake is required| including query federations and fundamental data engineering concepts. You will understand how to work within these environments to support data workflows. Programming & Development Skills Hands-on experience with Python is essential. You will also demonstrate proficiency with version control and artifact management tools including GitHub| Artifactory| and Nexus. Enterprise Integration Prior experience integrating SaaS solutions with enterprise systems is required| demonstrating your ability to work across multiple platforms and vendor ecosystems. Ideal Candidate ProfileYou are technically proficient across multiple domains| comfortable with infrastructure automation| and capable of bridging cloud operations with data engineering requirements. You have practical experience troubleshooting complex systems and optimizing infrastructure for reliability and scalability.
