About The Role NuAxis Innovations is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of modernized user interfaces, working closely with senior developers to implement well-scoped UI components, address defects, and improve accessibility. You will be involved in writing clean, maintainable code, conducting unit tests, and participating in Agile development cycles. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have completed equivalent bootcamp or apprenticeship training with demonstrable project work. Candidates should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript, including familiarity with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and consuming REST APIs. Exposure to automated unit testing, Git version control, and Agile methodologies is essential. A basic understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and code review processes will be advantageous. We value eagerness to learn, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities As a Junior Angular Developer, your primary responsibilities will include implementing assigned UI components, developing simple features, and addressing validation changes and bug fixes under the guidance of senior team members. You will write and maintain unit tests for your components and services, ensuring code quality and functionality. Consuming documented REST APIs and following established patterns for error handling, loading states, and messaging will be key aspects of your work. You will actively participate in daily standups, refinement sessions, planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives, contributing to a collaborative Agile environment. Supporting accessibility remediation tasks in accordance with Section 508/WCAG standards and responsive layout improvements will also be part of your duties. Maintaining clear documentation, using Git workflows effectively, and escalating blockers early are essential to ensure smooth project progress. You will continuously seek feedback and apply mentorship to enhance your technical skills and team contribution.
