We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Consultant to join our Professional Services team and work on complex enterprise infrastructure projects for our customers. You’ll bring strong hands-on experience across virtualisation, compute, storage and enterprise infrastructure, with expertise in technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix and/or Proxmox. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll be involved in designing, deploying, migrating, troubleshooting and supporting infrastructure environments — from initial discovery and solution design through to implementation and handover. What makes this role different? Our AI infrastructure capabilities are growing, and this role offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills in NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, AI compute, Kubernetes and AI Factory environments. You don’t need to have built large-scale GPU or AI clusters already. We’re looking for someone with strong infrastructure fundamentals, technical curiosity and a genuine interest in where AI infrastructure is heading. What You'll Be Doing Design, build and support enterprise infrastructure across compute, virtualisation, storage and container platformsWork with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Microsoft Hyper-V and/or Proxmox VEDesign and support enterprise storage including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NFSAdminister and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environmentsDeploy and support Kubernetes and containerised workloadsProduce HLDs, LLDs, migration plans, implementation plans and technical documentationLead and support infrastructure migrations, upgrades and technology refresh projectsWork directly with customers through discovery sessions, technical workshops and solution designCollaborate with sales and pre-sales teams on technical solutions and SOWsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and work with vendors where requiredShare knowledge and provide technical guidance to other engineersContinue developing your expertise across AI infrastructure, automation and emerging data centre technologies What we're looking for You’ll have strong experience working with enterprise infrastructure and be confident getting hands-on with complex technical environments. We're particularly interested in people with experience across: Enterprise virtualisation — VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V and/or ProxmoxEnterprise compute and physical server infrastructureSAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NFSLinux and Windows ServerKubernetes and container technologiesInfrastructure design and technical documentationComplex troubleshooting across compute, storage, virtualisation and operating systemsCustomer-facing consultancy and implementationInfrastructure networking fundamentals Experience with vSphere/VCF, vSAN, NSX, Nutanix AOS/Prism, HCI, enterprise storage, backup/DR, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python or public cloud would be advantageous. Experience with NVIDIA DGX/HGX, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, GPU Operator, Base Command Manager or AI Factory environments is also a bonus — but not essential. Who You Are You’re a technically curious infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems and getting stuck into new technology. You’ll be comfortable working directly with customers, taking ownership of technical delivery and explaining complex concepts to different audiences. Most importantly, you’ll be keen to learn, develop and build expertise in the next generation of AI infrastructure.
