Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-paced team developing high-volume, mission-critical web applications for Class Action & Claims Solutions. In this role, you will focus on hands-on software design and delivery while leveraging modern AI tools to streamline development across the entire software development life cycle. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $70 - 80 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate within an Agile Scrum SDLC environment, executing requirements analysis, software design, prototyping, programming, debugging, and system testing.Develop, debug, and deliver enterprise web applications while actively leveraging AI tools as part of daily software development workflows.Design and maintain robust SQL database structures, stored procedures, and high-performance queries.Deploy, manage, and run applications within cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure environments and microservices architecture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively identifying and resolving architectural, performance, or quality risks.Act as a technical resource, liaison, and mentor for fellow software engineers across the department. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of software development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Node. 5+ years of experience with SQL database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization. 3+ years of experience deploying and running enterprise applications in Azure cloud environments. 3+ years of web application development experience using the Next.JS framework. Proven experience utilizing AI tools to assist in daily coding, debugging, and technical design. Preferred Qualifications Additional experience with languages such as C#, Java, or Python. Experience leveraging AI agents to create chained workflows and complex automation. Hands-on experience with NoSQL database systems. Strong background in high-volume, multi-tier microservices architecture.
