Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for Java Architect Job ID: AV29322 Role: Java Architect Location: Mississauga, ON Duration: Full Time Compensation Range: $130,000 - $140,000 per year Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with 15+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java technologies, modern application architecture, cloud-native development, security, and DevSecOps practices. This role will lead architecture decisions, define technical roadmaps, and support end-to-end solution delivery in a regulated enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. Define architecture standards, development frameworks, and best practices. Develop and oversee implementation of microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and modern web applications. Provide technical leadership for solutions built using Java, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, and Oracle. Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD controls, and automated testing strategies. Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into architecture solutions. Guide development teams through design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives. Drive application modernization and continuous improvement efforts. Work within established SDLC and PDLC frameworks while ensuring compliance and quality standards. Required Skills 15+ years of experience in software engineering, solution design, or application architecture. Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Kafka, Oracle, DevSecOps, and Test Automation. Strong experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, secure software development, and cloud-native architectures. Preferred Qualifications TOGAF certification. Mandatory Skills: Fullstack Java Enterprise . Experience: 8-10 Years.
