Senior Project Developer, Utility-Scale Solar & Storage (Pacific Northwest) About the company Our client is one of the largest utility-scale solar and storage developers in the U.S., backed by a major global energy group. The role You'll lead utility-scale solar, storage and large-load projects across the West and Northwest, with a focus on the BPA service territory. You'll run cross-functional teams of internal staff and consultants, so strong judgment, project management and leadership matter more than deep technical expertise. Key responsibilities Own project strategy, schedules, budgets and risk managementLead site acquisition and landowner lease negotiationsCoordinate permitting, environmental studies and interconnectionManage community relationsSupport opportunity screening, pro forma modeling, and PPA and asset sale negotiationsTravel 25% or more of the time Requirements Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of renewable energy development experienceA track record managing utility-scale projects and negotiating contractsKnowledge of regional permitting and regulatory frameworksExperience with federal projects, tribal nations or Primavera/MS Project is a plus
