Managing engineering change, product configuration, and digital product definitions at scale is fundamental to our ability to innovate and deliver industry-leading lithography systems. As Domain Owner Engineering Change & Configuration Management, you will lead one of the largest and most strategic Engineering IT domains within the PLM & Mechanical Engineering Solutions value stream. You will be accountable for the digital capabilities, products, services, portfolio, and teams that support engineering change and configuration management across the product lifecycle. You will shape the future of how ASML manages product definitions, engineering changes, structures, configurations, and traceability across Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Working closely with senior business leaders, architects, and technology partners, you will ensure that these mission-critical capabilities continue to support ASML's growth and innovation ambitions. This role combines strategic leadership, business partnership, portfolio ownership, and people leadership at significant scale. Role and responsibilities Domain Leadership Own the Engineering Change & Configuration Management domain and define its strategic direction and multi-year roadmap.Translate value stream objectives into a coherent domain strategy, investment roadmap, and execution plan.Drive continuous evolution of engineering change, configuration management, product structure, and digital product-definition capabilities. Business Capability Ownership Act as the primary IT leadership counterpart for engineering change and configuration management stakeholders.Partner with Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations to improve engineering effectiveness and operational excellence.Drive digital transformation initiatives that simplify processes, improve governance, and increase engineering productivity. Portfolio and Delivery Management Own the integrated run and change portfolio for the domain.Balance short-term business priorities with long-term platform evolution and technical sustainability.Govern roadmap execution, investment planning, dependencies, risks, and value realization.Maintain a rolling multi-quarter planning horizon and ensure alignment across business and technology stakeholders. Product and Platform Ownership Own lifecycle performance of the domain's products and services.Drive platform modernization, standardization, simplification, and decustomization initiatives.Ensure operational stability, security, compliance, and service quality for mission-critical engineering platforms. Supplier and Ecosystem Management Lead strategic relationships with technology suppliers and implementation partners.Manage partner performance, sourcing decisions, and long-term technology investments.Build an ecosystem capable of supporting ASML's future engineering landscape. People Leadership Lead a large global engineering organization consisting of approximately 20 ASML employees and 175 external professionals.Build a culture of ownership, accountability, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.Coach and develop leaders and specialists across multiple engineering disciplines. Education and experience Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.15+ years of relevant experience within Engineering IT, Product Lifecycle Management, Digital Engineering, or enterprise-scale technology environments.Proven leadership experience in complex organizational environments.Demonstrated experience leading large engineering organizations and global delivery teams.Experience owning strategic portfolios, budgets, and technology roadmaps.Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and engineering processes.Experience working with large-scale engineering platforms such as Teamcenter, or comparable solutions.Experience managing strategic suppliers and outsourced delivery organizations. Engineering Domain Expertise Deep knowledge of Engineering Change Management and Configuration Management principles.Strong understanding of product structures, product data management, digital product definition, and engineering governance.Understanding of the broader digital engineering and PLM landscape. Delivery Excellence Strong execution capabilities.Experience managing large-scale transformations and technology programs.Ability to drive measurable outcomes through multidisciplinary teams.
