Senior Mechanical Engineer - HVAC and Building Systems

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer - HVAC / Building Systems to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow a local MEP team with technical support from our multiple other MEP locations. In addition, you will provide mechanical design services applied primarily to HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing systems for healthcare, commercial, long-term care, industrial and educational facilities. What You'll Do Responsible for planning, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of designPresents design reviews to clientsSupports/assists development of project proposals and schedulesDevelops scopes and budget estimates for mechanical discipline work What You'll Need Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering8+ years of experience with Building Mechanical SystemsRegistered Professional Engineer License strongly preferredDesign experience relative to medium/large commercial and institutional HVAC systems, including hydronic heating and cooling applicationsFamiliarity with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP/Trace 700, and Microsoft Office SuiteDiversified project type experience preferredStrong team player in a multi-disciplinary environmentExcellent oral and written communications skills Who We Are Join Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm where your career can thrive!
