production deployment and support.💼 Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.Build scalable services using frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code.Apply clean architecture principles, software design patterns, and secure development practices.Identify and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks, and maintainability issues.Contribute to the continuous evolution and service continuity of the application ecosystem.API & Microservices Development Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs.Build microservices supporting business processes and data exchange.Define clear API contracts and integration standards.Ensure reliable communication between internal and external systems.Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, validation, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.Contribute to API lifecycle management, documentation, and versioning.Data Integration & Virtualization Develop integrations that improve access to third-party data.Support the adoption of data virtualization and modern integration patterns.Enable consistent and near real-time data availability across systems.Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and integration dependencies.Contribute to the development of reliable and sustainable data exchange solutions.Help maintain consistency between source systems, integration services, and consuming applications.Architecture & System Design Design secure, scalable, and resilient backend architectures.Participate in technical design sessions and architecture reviews.Help model and implement solutions aligned with functional and technical requirements.Evaluate technical options and explain architectural trade-offs.Contribute to the long-term maintainability, scalability, and sustainability of the platform.Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, quality, and security standards.Database Engineering Design and optimize relational database structures.Develop complex and efficient SQL queries.Work with PostgreSQL and other relational database technologies.Support database performance analysis and optimization.Ensure data integrity, consistency, and efficient access patterns.Contribute to database design decisions for APIs, integrations, and backend services.Event-Driven Integration Design and implement event-driven integrations where applicable.Support asynchronous communication between services and data platforms.Ensure integrations are resilient, observable, and capable of handling failures.Contribute to the evolution of scalable integration patterns across the ecosystem.Testing & Quality Assurance Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using:PyTestUnittestPromote automated testing throughout the development lifecycle.Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.Support Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing activities.Investigate defects identified during testing and coordinate their resolution.Use test management tools such as ALM or Octane.Ensure appropriate test coverage for APIs, microservices, integrations, and data processes.CI/CD & Industrialization Industrialize applications following CI/CD best practices.Contribute to automated build, testing, deployment, and release workflows.Maintain effective Git workflows and version-control practices.Support consistent deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.Ensure software components are traceable, tested, and ready for production.Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve release quality and delivery efficiency.Cloud & Containerization Develop and deploy applications in cloud environments such as:AWSIBM CloudBuild and maintain containerized applications using Docker.Ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with internal standards.Contribute to cloud integration and application modernization initiatives.Support troubleshooting and technical analysis across cloud environments.Monitoring & Observability Implement logging, monitoring, and observability capabilities.Ensure that application behavior, API performance, errors, and dependencies can be effectively monitored.Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Contribute to the ongoing stability, performance, and availability of the platform.Business & Technical Collaboration Work closely with Business Analysts and end users to understand functional requirements.Translate business needs into clear technical solutions.Explain technical decisions and support stakeholders throughout periods of change.Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and DevOps professionals.Contribute to specifications, technical documentation, estimations, and planning activities.Act as a bridge between business and technology when required.Agile Delivery Participate actively in Agile and DevOps delivery processes.Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.Use Jira, Confluence,
