Full Stack Software Engineer – .NET / C# Location: Fort Worth, TX Work Arrangement: On-site / Fort Worth based Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday | 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off Employment Type: Direct Hire Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting advanced aerospace, defense, and mission-critical software programs. This role will design, build, and maintain modern full-stack applications supporting complex aircraft systems and defense technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with .NET / C#, modern JavaScript frameworks, relational databases, cloud environments, and software architecture. Hands-on Domain-Driven Design experience is required for this position. This is an opportunity to work in a smaller, agile engineering environment where developers have meaningful ownership over architecture, development, testing, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET / C# and modern front-end technologies.Build responsive front-end solutions using React, Vue, or similar frameworks.Design and support relational databases using PostgreSQL, SQL, and related technologies.Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to create scalable, maintainable software systems.Design solutions using clean architecture, CQRS, service-oriented, and modern application design patterns.Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.Participate in architecture, design, code review, and technical planning sessions.Support applications across CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and performance issues.Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#.Professional experience building modern full-stack applications.Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design is required.Experience applying clean architecture and software design principles.Experience with React, Vue, or comparable modern front-end frameworks.Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL.Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and Test-Driven Development.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Must be based in or able to work from Fort Worth, TX.U.S. Citizenship required.Preferred Qualifications Experience with CQRS and service-oriented architecture.Experience developing microservices or distributed systems.Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments.Experience working across multiple applications, services, or engineering teams.Aerospace, defense, aviation, or other mission-critical software experience is a plus.Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent professional software engineering experience will also be considered.
