Full Stack Java Developer Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: 3 Rounds, Including 2 Technical Interviews Industry: Financial Services Pay rate: $50 to $90 per hour on W2 (3 to 10 years of experience) We are seeking an experienced Mid- to Senior-level Full Stack Java Developer to join an enterprise technology team supporting critical financial services applications. This is a hands-on development position with a strong focus on Java, Spring, Oracle/SQL, JavaScript, and Angular. The developer will design, build, enhance, test, and support enterprise applications while collaborating with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate brings strong Java/Spring development experience, solid Oracle database skills, hands-on front-end experience with Angular and JavaScript, and a background working within financial services. Candidates should also be comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools and coding accelerators as part of the software development process. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring.Design and support Java/Spring services, integrations, and application components.Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following established engineering standards.Work extensively with Oracle and SQL, including queries, stored procedures, JDBC, and schema interactions.Develop and maintain front-end functionality using Angular and JavaScript.Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and support enhancement requests and backlog items.Develop unit tests and collaborate with QA on functional, security, and performance testing.Participate in pair programming and collaborate closely with other developers.Support application deployment and release activities.Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation.Use AI-assisted development tools and coding accelerators to improve development quality and productivity.Required Qualifications Strong hands-on Core Java development experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).Strong experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring MVC and Spring Boot.Strong Oracle/SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, JDBC, and relational database concepts.Hands-on Angular and JavaScript development experience.Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications within the financial services industry.Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and application support.Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.Experience working within an Agile development environment.Comfortable participating in code reviews, standups, sprint discussions, and pair programming.Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and coding accelerators.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to learn complex systems quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and requirements. What Success Looks Like During the initial onboarding period, you will become familiar with the development environment, application architecture, engineering standards, deployment processes, and release procedures while beginning with smaller development assignments. As you become familiar with the environment, you will independently develop Java/Spring features, participate actively in technical discussions and code reviews, and take ownership of increasingly complex development assignments. The goal is for you to become a trusted member of the development team who can own features end-to-end while continually improving application quality, performance, reliability, and documentation. Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will combine deep Java/Spring development experience with Oracle/SQL and hands-on Angular/JavaScript skills, along with experience developing technology within banking, payments, capital markets, or another financial services environment.
