About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in McLean, VA. The successful candidate will support the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) RegTech BPA program by developing and maintaining scalable, user-centric web applications. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with hands-on experience in modern frameworks and languages. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building responsive, accessible interfaces using React, along with strong back-end development skills in Scala and the Akka Toolkit, applying principles of functional and reactive programming. The role also involves working within an open-source environment, supporting containerized deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with federal security standards.
