Frontend Engineer

Job Description Ciklum is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic. About The Role As a Frontend Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who enjoys building busy, data-heavy interfaces and cares about getting them right. You will join the core R&D team of an AI and data-driven platform, design and build high-quality frontend components and own the frontend of your areas - from real-time alerting screens to tables, forms, graphs and dashboards. This is hands-on feature development on a mature product with real users. The team works AI-first, with tools like Claude Code as a natural part of daily development. You will not deal with end clients directly - your focus is the code and the product. You will join a long-term engagement with an Israeli company in automotive cybersecurity. Its platform protects millions of connected vehicles and covers vehicle security monitoring, threat detection and fleet security operations, as well as API security. The product is already on the market and in active development, with new features shipped every sprint. Tech stack: React 19 and TypeScript on Vite, Apollo GraphQL, Material UI, charting libraries, Vitest, deployment via GitHub Actions and Helm. Responsibilities Build and ship new features in a React and TypeScript applicationBuild busy, data-heavy UIs - tables, forms, graphs and dashboardsDevelop real-time monitoring, detection and alerting interfacesIntegrate with backend services through GraphQL (Apollo)Write unit tests with VitestBe accountable for the quality, architectural decisions and maintabilityUse AI tools such as Claude Code as a natural part of your workflowCollaborate closely with product, design, backend and QAResearch and bring in new technologies that improve the product Requirements We know that sometimes, you can't tick every box. We would still love to hear from you if you think you're a good fit! 4+ years of experience as a frontend developerStrong TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScriptStrong and recent experience with React and it’s ecosystem building large-scale, customer-facing applicationsExperience building complex UIs with tables, forms, graphs and dashboardsExperience with unit testing (Vitest or Jest)Experience connecting the frontend to backend services (GraphQL or REST)Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)Proficient in verbal and written English communication Desirable Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client Material UI (MUI) Charting libraries (e.g. Victory, Recharts) Real-time UIs (WebSockets, subscriptions, live dashboards) Basic understanding of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Helm) Background in cybersecurity, monitoring or automotive / IoT products What’s in it for you?
