Technical Lead - Security Architecture and Engineering

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who can bridge security architecture, security engineering and operational delivery. You'll act as the senior security authority across the organisation, working directly with CTOs, Lead Architects and Engineering Leaders to ensure security is embedded into technology decisions from day one rather than bolted on later. Responsibilities Lead security architecture and engineering activities across complex enterprise platforms.Provide security architecture leadership across AWS, Azure, network infrastructure and bespoke applications.Act as a trusted advisor to CTOs, Architecture Boards, Lead Architects and Engineering Leaders on security strategy and technology decisions.Define and oversee the implementation of security controls across cloud, infrastructure, network and application environments.Drive a secure-by-design approach throughout the technology lifecycle.Work closely with engineering, infrastructure and operational teams to integrate security controls into new and existing solutions. Skills Proven Security Architecture leadership experience within complex enterprise environments.Strong technical background in infrastructure, cloud, networking, software engineering or platform engineering before moving into security architecture.Ability to engage, influence and challenge CTOs, Architecture Boards, Lead Architects and senior engineering stakeholders.Experience securing hybrid estates spanning AWS, Azure, network infrastructure and bespoke applications.Comfortable operating at both strategic and implementation levels, balancing architectural direction with pragmatic engineering delivery.Experience defining enterprise security standards, patterns, guardrails and reference architectures. **This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days per week in the office**
