Role: Senior Developer Experience Engineer Job Type: Contract Location: Kraków, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days Office / 3 days Remote) Job Description: This role will focus on improving developer experience and productivity across engineering teams by building reusable templates, patterns, reference implementations, developer tooling and self-service onboarding capabilities. The role will work closely with engineering, product, architecture and risk/control teams to deliver practical, scalable and production-ready solutions. Required Skills: • Strong hands-on software engineering experience with Java, Kotlin or Node.js. • Proven experience building developer tooling, automation, reusable patterns, templates or platform capabilities. • Experience with Developer Experience (DevEx), developer productivity or platform engineering practices. • Ability to build and deliver reference implementations, onboarding assets and practical engineering solutions. • Experience improving developer onboarding and self-service capabilities. • Strong understanding of production engineering, including security, resilience, observability and supportability. • Ability to write clear technical documentation, how-to guides and developer-focused content. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Understanding of standardisation and automation to make the preferred engineering path easier to adopt. Good to Have: • Experience with golden paths, paved roads or internal developer platforms. • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments, particularly financial services or banking. • Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, automation and developer tooling. • Experience establishing developer feedback loops and driving adoption across engineering teams. • Experience working with multiple engineering, architecture and platform teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
