The Role We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. The main focus of the role will be developing and maintaining web-based applications, with a strong emphasis on PHP and backend development. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and contributing to a fast-moving development environment. You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to new development as well as improving and maintaining existing applications. A key part of the role will be helping the team continue to develop its CI/CD approach, improving the way software is tested, deployed and released. You'll work closely with the wider technology and product teams to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Key Requirements Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Software EngineerProficient in PHPExperience working with modern PHP frameworks, ideally LaravelExperience with JavaScript and/or TypeScriptExperience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQLExperience building and working with RESTful APIsGood understanding of Git and version controlComfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills Desirable Experience Experience with React, Angular or VueExperience with CI/CD pipelines and a desire to help develop and improve these processesFamiliarity with AWS or other cloud platformsExperience with automated testing and modern development practicesExperience with NoSQL databases, Redis or messaging technologies Benefits Company pensionGym membershipHealth and wellbeing programmePrivate medical insurance
