Senior Legal Counsel – Renewable Energy & Infrastructure London An international renewable energy developer and IPP is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support its European investment, development and financing activities. A broad, commercially focused role working closely with senior management across M&A, project finance and strategic growth. The role • Lead acquisitions, disposals, JVs and strategic investments • Negotiate corporate documents and key project agreements, including SPAs, SHAs, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts • Advise on project finance, debt financing, refinancing and fundraising • Support due diligence, transaction structuring and execution • Manage legal risk, governance and external counsel across Europe About you • 10+ years’ PQE with strong energy or infrastructure experience — renewables preferred • Proven M&A experience alongside project finance, debt financing and/or capital markets exposure • Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills • Commercially savvy, able to spot challenges and opportunities and propose practical solutions • Proactive and engaging, with the confidence to take ownership, build relationships and influence senior stakeholders An opportunity to play a central role in the growth of an international renewable energy business.
