The ITS Development team in the IT Services department, part of the Central Tech business unit, provides technical expertise to support internal technology platforms and services across the organisation. We are responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving solutions that enable efficient IT operations, streamline business processes, and improve the employee experience. Role Overview Within the IT Services Development team, a software engineer takes part in designing, implementing and maintaining internal tools, systems, services and integrations which enable the workforce at Booking.com and other Booking Holdings brands to be mobile and productive. The team’s services ownership scope includes, but is not limited to, the following aspects: User provisioning mechanisms, interconnecting company’s Identity and Authorization Management system to 3rd party applicationsEmployee data synchronization and internal exposure servicesEmployee Benefits Program management serviceCorporate offices meeting rooms management serviceEmployee communications management systems Programming languages and key technologies used within the team are: Hosting platforms: Booking Kubernetes Services (private cloud) / AWS / MulesoftProgramming languages: Java, TypeScriptOther technologies used: Mulesoft, MySQL, Kafka, React The team (along with the all the Tech & Product teams) uses agile methodology.
