About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team on a contract basis at Maayee, Inc. This role is pivotal in assisting with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our Magento 2-based eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, with hands-on experience working with Magento 2 and third-party integrations. As part of our development team, you will collaborate closely with senior developers and stakeholders to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform performance. Qualifications Proven experience in PHP development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Hands-on experience working with Magento 2 eCommerce platforms, including customization and extension development.Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and extensions such as payment gateways, CRM tools, and other eCommerce integrations.Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with deployment workflows.Strong understanding of web security best practices, performance optimization, and testing methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based features for Magento 2 eCommerce platforms, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.Collaborate with senior developers and project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Integrate third-party APIs and extensions, including payment gateways, CRM tools, and other eCommerce functionalities.Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure optimal user experience.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes, maintaining version control using Git.Implement security measures to safeguard platforms against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.Optimize website performance through code improvements, database tuning, and other best practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PHP and Magento development.
