DevOps Engineer

Onsite MSFT - Banqiao Mega Office DevOps Engineer (Python Automation & Azure DevOps Engineer) Role Summary: We are looking for a hands-on Python Automation & Azure DevOps Engineer to support engineering automation, workflow troubleshooting, repository administration, and Azure service operations. The role requires strong Python programming skills, particularly for JSON parsing and data processing, along with exp. working with Git, Azure Repos, YAML-based automation, secure engineering environments, and operational reporting. Ideal Candidate Profile: A strong candidate will combine Python automation expertise with Azure DevOps and operational engineering skills. The person should be comfortable troubleshooting across code, JSON/YAML configurations, repositories, automation workflows, secure environments, and Azure services, while also providing clear operational visibility through Power BI. Responsibilities: Develop & maintain Python-based automation, with a strong focus on parsing, validating, transforming, and processing JSON data.Troubleshoot & resolve issues across YAML-based automation workflows and Pipelines.Support Git workflows and Azure Repos, incl. repository Access and Permissions management.Investigate automation failures, Identify root causes, and Improve workflow reliability.Operate effectively within SAW (Secure Access Workstation) environments while adhering to applicable security and access controls.Support the availability, operational health, and maintenance of Azure services within the assigned scope.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide visibility into Bug tracking and engineering status.Work closely with engineering and service teams to streamline automation, operational processes, and issue tracking. Min. Qualifications: 4 - 8 yrs exp. of Python Automation & Azure DevOps EngineeringStrong proficiency in Python, particularly for JSON parsing, Manipulation, Validation, and Automation.Good Debugging & Problem-solving skills for automation and Engineering Workflows.Ability to independently Analyze technical issues and Develop maintainable automation solutions.Able to communicate effectively in English (both verbal & written).Exp. w/ AI tool (e.g. Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Copilot, Gemini, Codex, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of Git workflows and hands-on exp. w/ Azure Repos permissions management.Strong proficiency in YAML, incl. Troubleshooting complex Automation workflow issues.Exp. working within SAW (Secure Access Workstation) environments.Exp. supporting the availability and maintenance of Azure services.Hands-on exp. w/ Power BI, particularly Dashboards and Visualizations for Bug-tracking and management reporting.Familiarity w/ Engineering operations, Incident/bug tracking, and Automation-driven operational improvements.Taiwan APRC & Mandarin capability are required w/ expat.
