🚨 Hiring: Data Engineer (SSIS) – Capital Markets
📍 Location: Mississauga, ON – Hybrid
🏢 Interview: In-person interview required
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Capital Markets Technology team and help build and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms supporting trading, risk management, market data, securities, and regulatory reporting.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions
• Build and optimize enterprise data warehouses using Snowflake
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformation logic
• Build and support ETL/ELT frameworks for large-volume financial data
• Develop data models for reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security
• Troubleshoot and optimize database/data warehouse performance
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Traders, Risk teams, and other data consumers
• Support production deployments and ongoing enhancements
• Create technical documentation, data lineage, and operational procedures
🔹 Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related roles
• Strong Capital Markets / Financial Services domain experience
• Strong understanding of trading, market data, reference data, securities, equities, fixed income, derivatives, risk, or regulatory reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments

✅ Expert SQL – complex joins, analytical/window functions, stored procedures, performance tuning
✅ Snowflake – development, architecture, data loading, transformation, optimization
✅ Data Warehousing – dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schemas, Data Marts, historical data
✅ ETL/ELT – enterprise data integration and high-volume data pipelines
✅ Python / PySpark – data ingestion, transformation, API integration, validation, and Spark optimization
