Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced L3 Cloud Engineer ( Oracle Exadata Cloud , GCP , Database Expert) to join our team and work on mission-critical database platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24x7 support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Sybase databasesPerform database migrations from on-premises environments to private cloud and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Execute database patching, upgrades, backup, restore, and recovery activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve database performance issues while implementing long-term solutionsEnsure database availability, security, scalability, and compliance standardsCollaborate with global teams and stakeholders to resolve complex production incidentsParticipate in conference calls, technical discussions, and client-facing engagements
Key Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of database administration/support experience within the IT industry2 to 3 years of experience in the financial services industry preferredMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments in productionOCM certification or equivalent expertise preferredHands-on experience with GCP native databases and MongoDBStrong experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Sybase administrationTechnical Skills
