Senior Oracle APEX Full Stack Developer

Location: Gatineau, QC (Hybrid) Duration: 4 years Security Clearance: Secret & Controlled Goods required Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements, refine data needs, and support the delivery of iterative, value-focused solutions. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Use software development and lifecycle tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, Azure DevOps, and Git to ensure quality, maintain version control, and support configuration management. Communicate proactively and effectively with all team members and stakeholders. Follow established build and release management processes across Development, Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments, including code promotion, database updates, validation steps, documentation, and required approvals. Ensure adherence to applicable information security requirements and data-handling practices. Deliver work that follows Government of Canada web accessibility standards. Provide full-stack development expertise across the application's user interface and data layers. Develop, enhance, and maintain backend logic in Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL. Design, enhance, and maintain user interfaces in Oracle APEX, translating user stories, business requirements, and user-research findings into intuitive designs, workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Document software designs, system architecture, processes, and the codebase, including technical notes and supporting materials required for maintainability. Qualifications Education: A post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, science, computer science, mathematics, or a technology domain. 10+ years of experience working as a software developer and/or database modeller. 2+ years of experience developing applications in Oracle Application Express (APEX). 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL. 2+ years of experience designing user interfaces, including translating user stories, business requirements, and user-research findings into UI designs, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes. Experience using tools such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Oracle SQL Developer, and Unified Codes APEX Office Print (AOP). Experience working in the aviation or aerospace domain is an asset. Secret Clearance & Controlled Goods Required.
