Associate Technical Director - Infrastructure Advisory

Role description: With an exciting portfolio of advisory projects in the pipeline across Victoria, NSW and Queensland, our Infrastructure Advisory team is growing. We are seeking an experienced economist who is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future growth of our team while delivering city-shaping projects across Australia. This is an opportunity for someone with a growth mindset who enjoys balancing project delivery with business development, building trusted client relationships, winning new work, and helping shape the future growth of a high-performing advisory practice. Role accountabilities: Building and maintaining trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand Arcadis' presence in key markets; Leading and contributing to business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development and work winning; Providing strategic and technical insights to help solve complex infrastructure, transport and policy challenges; Leading the delivery of business cases, economic appraisals, technical reviews, feasibility studies and options assessments; Project managing multidisciplinary advisory projects and teams; Supporting the growth, capability development and market profile of the Infrastructure Advisory team; and Working collaboratively with technical disciplines across Arcadis to develop integrated client solutions and successful proposals. Qualifications & Experience: We are seeking an experienced advisory professional with a growth mindset who is looking to play a key role in the next phase of our team's growth. You will be motivated by both delivering impactful projects and building trusted client relationships, developing new opportunities and contributing to the ongoing success and expansion of our advisory practice. You will have: A relevant tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline; Demonstrated consulting experience in infrastructure advisory, economics, business cases or related fields; Strong understanding of business case development, economic appraisal and infrastructure investment decision-making; Proven ability to develop trusted client relationships and contribute to business development and work winning activities; Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to prepare high-quality reports, proposals and presentations; Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams; Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a client-focused environment; and Experience working across transport, infrastructure and government sectors will be highly regarded.
