Senior Web Applications Developer

Position Purpose and Objectives XYMOGEN® is a provider of functional foods and supplements exclusively to practitioners and their patients. XYMOGEN® is looking to fill a full-time application development position. The person will be involved in all facets of the development process, including requirements gathering, coding, database management, testing, and deployment. This position is part of a small but fast growing IT group that creates and maintains custom intranet applications for internal use, as well as managing and maintaining multiple external marketing websites and e-commerce. The team primarily uses Java, Angular, C#, ASP.NET, J Query, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and SQL Server for the majority of their current development. Essential Job Functions Analyze, design, develop/modify/code/test/debug, and document new intranet application systems and/or enhancements to existing systemsDocument the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programming application modules, and develop/enhance software application modulesParticipate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analytics, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solutionPerform architectural design and analysis to insure optimal performance of software and data manipulation while still meeting business requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Demonstrated planning and organizational skillsProven ability to work well independently and as a team memberTime management skills and proven ability to prioritize heavy workload and meet deadlinesExcellent analytical, verbal, and written communications skillsExperience with SAP S4 Hana, SAP Commerce (SAP Hybris) and/or ABAP development is a plus Additional Responsibilities Participate in cross-training and temporarily perform duties in other departments or functional areas as needed to support business operationsAssist with other production-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned, based on operational and business needsPerform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational objectives Working Conditions This is a fully in-office position. The employee is expected to work from the company’s designated office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. This role does not have a regular remote or hybrid work arrangement. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years’ experience building web-based applications using Java (preferably Java 8+) on Windows Platforms. Proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Solid understanding of MVC and Razor are a plus5+ years’ experience developing web-based user interfaces using front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
