The Senior Geotechnical Engineer Role Offers Competitive salary (GBP36,000 : GBP44,000), dependent on experience Enhanced company pension and comprehensive benefits Greater responsibility and autonomy across projects Ongoing professional development and CPD support Excellent long:term career progression The opportunity to work alongside experienced multidisciplinary specialists The Senior Geotechnical Engineer Will Plan and manage ground investigations from inception through to completion Undertake site investigations, walkovers and in:situ testing Supervise and support junior engineers and site teams Produce and review soil and rock logs Prepare Phase 1 Desk Studies and interpretive reports Produce factual and interpretive ground investigation reports Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders Contribute to project planning, technical solutions and delivery Review technical work and ensure high standards are maintained The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will hold a relevant BSc/MSc in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a related discipline, alongside several years experience within the ground investigation industry. Youll need strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the confidence to take ownership of projects and support less experienced colleagues. A full UK driving licence, full right to work in the UK and the ability to commute to Sheffield are essential.
