Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Own the solution concept and technical evolution of scalable AI-enabled engineering solutions, including Generative AI, RAG, agentic workflows, knowledge systems, advanced analytics, and intelligent automationServe as the primary technical advisor, translating customer and technical requirements into solution concepts, architecture decisions, interfaces, data flows, and implementation roadmapsGuide architecture decisions and support Solution Owners and development teams in integrating AI capabilities into the existing technology landscapeDefine how AI components interact with existing business logic, processes, tools, and human decision pointsEstablish reusable architecture principles and integration patterns while leveraging existing platforms, services, and capabilitiesStay up to date with developments in LLM capabilities, AI system architectures, and implementation patternsDrive solutions from roadmap to productive operation in collaboration with Solution Leads, Business Analysts, domain experts, developers, and delivery partners, including responsibility for DevOps and the technical delivery setupEnsure sustainable solution quality across scalability, maintainability, reliability, security, and responsible AI, while communicating technical decisions and trade-offs clearly Your profile Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed Are you passionate about applying Agentic AI and advanced analytics to real-world business challenges in semiconductor engineering? We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Architect to act as a trusted technical advisor and help our AI-enabled solutions in semiconductor engineering to grow and scale. In this role, you will develop technical concepts, connect them to business needs, and implement scalable architectures across a diverse technology stack. You will work closely with Business Analysts to understand customer needs and with development teams to drive technical implementation. You will take end-to-end ownership of applied AI solutions, used by multiple R&D teams across semiconductor engineering. Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, ideally combined with experience in product development, semiconductor engineering, or a comparable industrial environment5+ years of professional experience in software, AI, data, analytics engineering, technical product ownership, or a related role, including at least 2 years in a hands-on technical positionDemonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least one enterprise AI-enabled solution, such as RAG, Generative AI, or agentic workflow automation, from initial idea through MVP to productive useHands-on experience with Python and SQL, plus practical knowledge of common LLM frameworks and tools, machine learning, or data scienceSolid understanding to design scalable cloud-based architecturesExperience in guiding AI solutions through the full lifecycle from concept to implementation and operationGeneral familiarity with modern DevOps or DataOps practicesExperience coordinating business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical delivery partners in a cross-functional environmentStrong interest in applying AI safely and responsibly to create measurable value for users and the businessFluent English; German is a plus. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
