Full Stack Developer - Java Angular

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java and Angular to join a technology-focused team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services. Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Perform unit, integration, and automated testing. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions. Support continuous integration and delivery practices. Ensure applications meet security, performance, and quality standards. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong commercial experience in Java development. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful web services. Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript. Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development. Experience working with relational databases and SQL. Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns. Experience with Git and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools. Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with messaging technologies and event-driven systems. Understanding of secure software development and application performance tuning.
