Analytics Engineer - Freelance 3 month contract Amsterdam, Netherlands The Company They are a technology-led financial services organisation operating a high-volume digital platform. Following the centralisation of their data capabilities, they are creating a more consistent approach to data modelling, analytics and reporting. The central data team is now expanding its Analytics Engineering capability to support this transformation. The Role Design, develop and maintain scalable data models using SQL and dbt.Use Python to support data transformation and analytics engineering workflows.Bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics teams.Improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of data used across the organisation.Contribute to common data modelling standards within a centralised data function.Work with stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into robust data solutions.Support analytics and BI use cases across a high-volume technology environment. Your Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a closely related data role.Advanced SQL and data modelling capabilities.Hands-on experience with dbt.Strong Python skills within data and analytics environments.Experience building reliable datasets and models for downstream analytics and BI.Comfortable working between data engineering and analytics disciplines.Experience within fintech, financial services or another high-volume technology business is beneficial.
