What You Will Do In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a purpose greater than daily tasks: making energy safer, more sustainable, and closer to people. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in automating our infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments. You will leverage your expertise in industry-leading DevOps tools to build and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure that empowers our development teams and drives business agility. We create the context for you to grow, being responsible for: AWS Infrastructure Management: Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) on AWS. Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS resources to ensure maximum performance, security, and cost optimization.Administer GitLab, ensuring optimal configuration, maintenance, and support, while utilizing it for version control and designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.Containerization and Orchestration: Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies. Skilled in Kubernetes administration, including managing EKS clusters, containerized applications, and orchestrating large-scale deployments.Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and maintain resources efficiently.Leverage Ansible to automate deployment processes and streamline configuration management tasks.Develop scripts and tools in Python / Bash for automation and integration.Set up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus for metrics collection.Create dashboards and visualize data with Grafana.Implement log aggregation and analysis with Loki.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure / application issues in a timely manner.Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.Mentorship and Leadership - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and promoting best practices within the team. We Want You To Join Our Journey With 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.Extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and managing services in AWS, along with a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts.Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, K8s.Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.Secret Management: HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secret ManagerBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice To Have Ability to design automation workflows in ServiceNow for AWS service management processes, without the need for development expertise.
