AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to join the AI Infrastructure team of a large enterprise organization in the Netherlands. The team provides the infrastructure, services and reusable capabilities that enable AI and Generative AI development across the organization. We provide full support with visa processes, making your transition smooth and hassle-free! #LI-DNI Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable AI infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards for security, networking, privacy, monitoring, auditability and governance.Prototype emerging AI infrastructure technologies and translate them into production-ready enterprise solutions.Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, platform automation and Infrastructure as Code.Develop integrations between AI services, AKS/Kubernetes and supporting platform components.Create reusable templates, platform capabilities and reference implementations for AI development teams.Support engineering teams in adopting and using the AI platform securely and effectively.Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Risk, Data Governance and Platform teams to ensure technical solutions meet enterprise and regulatory requirements. What we’re looking for Platform & Cloud Engineering Strong experience with Azure platform engineering, including networking and IAM / Entra ID.Experience with AKS / Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.Knowledge of Azure AI Services and Azure API Management.Experience with reliability engineering, including observability, scalability and availability.Strong Python skills for troubleshooting, automation and prototyping.Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, version control and Infrastructure as Code.AI & LLMOps Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMOps concepts.Understanding of AI security and governance, including cost/token tracking and rate limiting.Good understanding of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, evaluation and prompt engineering.Experience with monitoring and observability of AI/platform services.Architecture & Collaboration Strong awareness of security, compliance and governance in enterprise environments.A Developer Experience (DevEx) mindset and strong systems-thinking skills.Experience with architecture modelling and translating requirements into technical solutions.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Comfortable working across engineering, architecture, security and governance teams.
