Job Summary We're looking for a Junior Back-End Engineer to join our engineering team and grow into a strong contributor to the development of robust, scalable, and modern backend systems. You will work closely with senior engineers who will provide mentorship and support as you help build services and APIs that power the applications and platforms we deliver. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a team that values learning, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.  Key Responsibilities Help develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and system components, with guidance from senior engineers  Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code, incorporating feedback from code reviews  Participate in technical discussions and start contributing ideas as you build familiarity with our architecture  Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver high‑quality features  Support the team in delivering on goals and improving existing systems, learning from more experienced colleagues along the way  Help monitor the performance and reliability of delivered solutions and flag opportunities for improvement  Receive regular mentorship, pair programming, and code review support from senior engineers to help you grow Requirements What We're Looking For  1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering, whether through internships, academic projects, coding bootcamps, or entry-level roles building web applications or products  Python experience (through internships, bootcamps, or personal projects)  Basic understanding of REST APIs and how backend services are structured  Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases Interest in learning cloud environments (AWS a plus)  Strong communication and collaboration skills  Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow your skills as a backend engineer   Νice to Have  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts Hands‑on exposure to at least one other backend language (Node.js, Java, Go, PHP, etc.) Benefits Competitive remuneration and benefits packageBonus upon successPrivate medical insuranceTicket Restaurant CardA team who is eager to provide the best possible solutions for our clientsFormal training and development of your skillsA place where your professional and personal success is our commitment
