What You Will Do
- Design and implementation of reporting solutions.
- Design and development of a scalable data platform solution using Databricks.
- Data integration into the company-wide Data Lake based on a Medallion architecture.
- Development of a high-performance data model for reporting, taking into account company-wide
- IT requirements, including deployment across multi-tier environments and quality gates.
- Implementation of optimization measures to improve efficiency and quality.
- Documentation of architectural decisions, processes, and project results.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with Databricks in the design and implementation of Data- Engineering solutions, including data modelling, ETL, and orchestration of data loading processes.
- In-depth understanding of layered data models, e.g.
Medallion Architecture.
- Experience in developing authorization and access-control concepts.
- Knowledge of Continuous Ingestion / Continuous Development.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms.
- Solution-oriented and structured way of working.
- Very good communication and moderation skills.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Understanding of IT Service Management processes (ITIL).
- Experience working in agile projects, particularly Scrum.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure in the context of Databricks / Data Engineering.
- Experience with Machine Learning and LLMs in Databricks.
- Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
