Job Title: iOS Mobile Engineer
Duration : 12+Months Contract(With Possibility of extension)
Location : Toronto, Ontario(3 Days Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with 9-10 years of hands-on iOS development experience to join our mobile engineering team.
Backend development experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Swift and the Apple ecosystem, along with a passion for building scalable, high-performing, and user-centric mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and features.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and independently resolve technical challenges.
Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Identify and resolve application performance, stability, and usability issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Swift, including protocols, generics, and functional programming concepts.
Experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS frameworks.
Expertise in Xcode for development, debugging, and performance optimization.
Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and third-party services.
Knowledge of persistence technologies such as CoreData, Keychain, and UserDefaults.
Experience with unit and UI testing (XCTest, XCUI) and TDD practices.
Strong Git-based development practices.
Proficiency in performance analysis tools, including Xcode Instruments and Memory Graph.
Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
