Role Description The Associate DevOps Engineer will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines for Vixorel Technologies’ applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with configuration management, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues in development and production environments, and collaborating with software engineers to streamline build and release processes. The role involves contributing to automation scripts, improving CI/CD workflows, and helping maintain security and reliability standards across environments. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Remote, OR, requiring regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on work in the company’s technical environment. Qualifications Foundational understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD concepts, version control, and release management.Basic experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage.Exposure to automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) to support build, deployment, and maintenance tasks.Familiarity with configuration management or containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform) is advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Interest in learning new technologies, following industry best practices, and building a long-term career in DevOps and infrastructure engineering.
