Senior Software Engineer We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a large-scale technology team working on data platforms and cloud-based applications. The role involves building reliable, secure and high-performance software that supports the movement and processing of critical data. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain production-quality software.Build solutions for efficient and reliable data movement and processing.Focus on performance, scalability, security and automation.Work with architects, engineers and business teams to define technical solutions and requirements.Support applications in production and take ownership from development through to deployment and support.Contribute to performance and non-functional testing.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices.Work within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment. Key Skills & Experience Strong experience developing complex production applications.Experience with data platforms and performance-focused applications.Strong JVM experience, ideally with Pekko or similar frameworks.Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of non-functional testing, including performance, scalability and reliability testing.Experience working in Agile environments.Good communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.Ability to take ownership and work independently while supporting the wider engineering team.
