About the Company We are working with a leading global data and AI consultancy that is looking to hire a Palantir Data Engineer to join a growing data transformation practice. About the Role This position would suit an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Palantir Foundry, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data engineering practices. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics, AI initiatives, and business-critical decision-making. Working alongside architects, engineers, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of enterprise-grade data products and transformation programmes. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms.Build and manage data ingestion, transformation and orchestration workflows within Palantir Foundry.Create and optimise Foundry datasets, pipelines and applications.Develop interactive applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate and custom front-end components.Build integrations and applications using Python, PySpark and TypeScript.Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Support AI-enabled use cases using Palantir AIP.Implement data governance, quality, security and performance best practices.Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-native deployments.Deliver data engineering solutions within Agile delivery teams. Qualifications 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering or Big Data environments.2+ years' commercial experience with Palantir Foundry. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with: Data ingestion and integrationData transformationsFoundry datasetsPipeline developmentFoundry applications and WorkshopAIP LogicsAutomateStrong programming skills in: PythonPySparkTypeScript / JavaScriptExperience building custom applications within Foundry.Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda and Redshift.Experience delivering production-grade cloud data solutions.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Hands-on experience with Palantir AIP and AI-enabled Foundry applications. Preferred Skills Palantir Foundry certification.Experience with Snowflake.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.Exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch or other AI/ML frameworks.Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes.
