Job Title: DB2 Engineer for z/OS Duration: long-term B2B contract Location: 100% Remote Role Description: We are looking for an experienced DB2 engineer for z/OS to support and maintain a large-scale enterprise Db2 environment. The role involves production support, software maintenance, performance, security, disaster recovery, and automation across 50+ Db2 subsystems. Key Responsibilities Install, upgrade, test and maintain Db2 for z/OS and related tools.Provide production support, troubleshooting and incident management.Support distributed Db2 connections and CICS/OLTP environments.Perform Db2 performance monitoring, tuning and capacity planning.Manage database security, backup/recovery and disaster recovery.Support database planning, storage and archiving activities. Required Skills & Experience Significant experience as a z/OS Systems Specialist / Db2 System Programmer.Programming/scripting experience with REXX and/or COBOL.
