Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

The Ingérop Group has over 3,500 projects across Australia, Europe and the rest of the world. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Sydney. About our role: You will be a key part of our delivery team and some of your day to day responsibilities will include: Undertaking projects in Australia and internationallyGeotechnical design and analysis, such as ground interpretation, foundation and retaining wall design, slope stability assessment and finite element analysis.Inspection and onsite works supervision in AustraliaAdopting procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company’s technical work productAdhering to Company procedures in the management, delivery and administration of ServicesObserving and maintaining Company Health and Safety Policy across all activities About you: Distinction or higher Bachelors Degree in a relevant disciplineBasic knowledge of Australian Standards and other national and international industry standardsBasic awareness of forms of contract, construction methodologies and civil engineering proceduresDesire to work in a consultancy environment on large scale infrastructure projectsCompetent in the use of CAD and MS Office programmes and ability to develop competence in use of proprietary structural analysis programmes to suit specific role requirementsStrong problem solving abilities, analytical and numeracy skills, as well as ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders About our offer to you: We employ a world-class team of highly qualified staff, ranging from seasoned professionals to the best graduates, undergraduates, and apprentices.
