Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will join an industrial project through ENTER as the mechanical specialist the team needs! What will you do? Our client is developing industrial machinery and systems for material-related processes. You join the multidisciplinary project team as the senior mechanical expert and turn requirements into robust, workable designs. Your expertise is new to the team, so your input directly shapes the technical choices, from the first concept through to commissioning. Your responsibilities include: Creating mechanical concepts and technical solutions for industrial applications.Designing piping systems that operate at temperatures up to 900 °C and high pressures.Contributing to feasibility studies, the design phase and implementation.Solving complex engineering problems using your knowledge of materials and process technology.Identifying technical risks early and helping to resolve them.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.Supporting testing, validation and commissioning. What do we expect from you? You are an experienced engineer with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset. You oversee the complete system, work independently and are comfortable advising others on technical choices. Must-haves: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.8+ years of experience in machine building, industrial engineering or the process industry.Experience with piping design for high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and high pressures.A strong background in mechanical design and system integration.Good communication skills and the confidence to act as a senior technical advisor. Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of material science.Experience with fusion technologies and/or salt-based processes.
